The CanMan was founded by Cade Schultz, a native of Rockwall County, whose roots run deep in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. At the young age of 19, Cade embarked on the journey of entrepreneurship, drawing inspiration from his upbringing in a military family with a strong background in home services. With his older brother operating a garage door service and repair business and his father running a electrical, plumbing, and HVAC business, Cade had plans to follow suit after high school.
However, the unexpected arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic shifted his perspective. Like many, Cade began to recognize the paramount importance of cleanliness and sanitation. Reflecting on his upbringing, he pinpointed the often-overlooked source of bacteria in homes—the trash can. Having been cleaning trash cans for his parents and neighbors since the age of 12 to make money, Cade saw an opportunity to revolutionize the industry.
Through extensive research and collaboration with manufacturers, The CanMan introduced a cutting-edge truck equipped to safely clean and sanitize trash cans using high-pressure water without the need for harsh chemicals. This innovation marked the beginning of a mission to rid DFW homes of bacteria, dirt, and grime, one trash can at a time. To date, The CanMan has serviced over 35,000 cans, providing homeowners and trash companies alike with a solution to keep their surroundings clean and odor-free.
But The CanMan’s journey didn’t stop there. Recognizing the correlation between pest issues and unclean trash cans, The CanMan expanded their services to include pest control. Teaming up with his older brother Chase and his father Steve, The CanMan assembled a team dedicated to delivering top-notch service. With the addition of two seasoned pest professionals with over 30 years of experience, The CanMan solidified its position as a one-stop solution for both sanitation and pest management needs in DFW.
