DFW Born and Raised!
Learn More AboutTheCanMan!

The CanMan was founded by Cade Schultz, a native of Rockwall County with deep roots in the Dallas–Fort Worth community. Raised in a military family and surrounded by home service businesses from an early age, Cade grew up watching what it meant to serve homeowners with pride, discipline, and accountability. His older brother owned a garage door service and repair company, while his father built a business in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC — instilling in Cade both an entrepreneurial spirit and a respect for quality work.
From the age of twelve, Cade was already cleaning trash cans for neighbors to earn extra money, learning firsthand that even the smallest services could make a meaningful difference when done well. By nineteen, he was ready to pursue entrepreneurship full-time — but the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped his perspective. As cleanliness and sanitation became top of mind for families everywhere, Cade recognized a problem that was hiding in plain sight: the household trash can — one of the most overlooked sources of bacteria, odor, and contamination around the home.
Seeing both a need and an opportunity, Cade founded The CanMan with a simple but ambitious goal: to raise the standard of home services through care, cleanliness, and hospitality.
Through extensive research and collaboration with manufacturers, The CanMan introduced a custom-built cleaning truck designed to safely and effectively sanitize trash cans using high-pressure water — without relying on harsh chemicals. This innovation marked the beginning of a larger mission: to deliver cleaner, healthier, and more respectful home service experiences to families across DFW.
Since its founding, The CanMan has serviced over 100,000 trash cans, helping homeowners and municipalities maintain cleaner, odor-free environments — while proving that even the most overlooked services deserve premium standards.
As the business grew, a natural connection emerged between sanitation and pest issues. Unclean trash cans often attract unwanted pests, and homeowners were asking for solutions beyond cleaning alone. In response, The CanMan expanded into pest control, partnering with Cade’s older brother Chase Schultz and father Steve Schultz, along with two seasoned pest professionals bringing over 30 years of combined experience. Together, they built a team aligned around the same philosophy: service done right, with care and accountability.
Today, The CanMan is building a category-defining home service company centered on recurring services around the home — services that have too often become rushed, transactional, and disconnected from the people they serve. Our competitive advantage is ridiculous hospitality. We are relentlessly premium-standard obsessed. We coach hard, love harder, and operate with deep faith — faith in ourselves, faith in our team, and faith in God.
This foundation empowers us to become the most hospitable and most premium service provider in every category we choose to serve.
At The CanMan, we live by the mantra “dominating the details.” Every visit, every interaction, and every home matters. Our customers — the CanMan family — trust us not just to do the job, but to do it with excellence, respect, and care.
Rooted in innovation, guided by faith, and committed to serving our community, The CanMan is proud to raise the standard for home services in the place we call home.
